Wood On Mars - The Leaked Photo That Is Shocking The World

Someone at NASA has leaked a photo that they never should have, and now the internet is buzzing with excitement over the possible discovery of wood on Mars.

NASA had stated over and over that Mars is a dead planet with no life on it whatsoever. Will NASA be forced to backtrack on these assertions now?

A Man Who Nearly Had His Head Severed For Serving Christ

Can you imagine having your head nearly cut off for serving Yahshua (Jesus)?

The following amazing story of a young man from Indonesia is originally from a book entitled "Extreme Devotion" which you can find in the Amazon carousel in the sidebar of this blog.  May stories such as this challenge us and encourage us to deepen our devotion to the Lord:

The twenty-year-old Bible student was asleep when he was awakened by shouts of "Allah-u-ahkar!" (Allah is Almighty)  Radical Muslims entered his room and beat him nearly unconscious.  As Dominggus fought to escape, a sickle came down on the back of his neck, nearly severing his head.  The attackers left him in a growing pool of his own blood, assuming he would soon die.

Dominggus said that his spirit left his body and was carried by angels to heaven, and he witnessed his own corpse lying motionless on the ground.  He no longer felt fear or pain, but rather peace as he awaited his new life with Christ.  Then he heard, "It is not time for you to serve me here."

The next voices Dominggus heard were those of Indonesian emergency medical workers.  Since they did not know whether he was Christian or Muslim, they were discussing where to take his body.

Dominggus prayed to God for strength to speak.  Finally, the words "I am a Christian" came out.  One can only imagine the look on the workers' faces as the "dead" student answered their question.

Today, Dominggus has fully recovered.  He physical scars remain, but his spirit has a renewed faith and a message of forgiveness.  Dominggus stated that he is closer to God, and now, he is actively praying for his Muslim neighbors - even those who attacked him.

Now That He Is Elected, Is Obama Betraying The Anti-War Community?

Now that Barack Obama has been elected, is he turning his back on the anti-war community that did so much to get him elected?

After all, Americans are overwhelmingly against the Iraq war and want our troops to be brought home as soon as possible. Americans are tired of war and they don't want to police the world and they don't want to station our troops in dozens of different countries like we are currently doing.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll that was taken from August 29-31 asked the following question:

"Do you favor or oppose the U.S. war in Iraq?"

The results?

Favor the war: 35%
Oppose the war: 64%
Unsure: 1%

Americans clearly do not support the Iraq war, and in fact Americans do not want to commit troops to any endless conflicts.

That seems clear enough.

So why is Barack Obama bringing so many hawks into his administration? Rahm Emanuel (an incredibly fierce opponent of the anti-war wing of the Democratic party), Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, and retired Marine General Jim Jones are just some of the names that have the anti-war crowd up in arms.

The American people thought once they got George W. Bush out of office all of this warmongering would be over.

But the truth is that Barack Obama and Joe Biden can't wait to commit American troops to even more places.

Yes, they fooled middle America with talk about withdrawing SOME of the troops from Iraq "eventually".

But listen to what Obama said in a speech at the Woodrow Wilson Center:

"My plan would maintain sufficient forces in the region to target al Qaeda within Iraq."

The truth is that we will have troops in Iraq throughout Obama's administration.

Plus, Obama has promised to send at least 10,000 more troops to Afghanistan.

In addition, Obama has talked about bombing and attacking Pakistan.

Obama has talked how war may be needed with Iran.

Obama has talked about how he may need to commit American troops to Sudan.

Joe Biden has mentioned several times how America should have sent troops to Lebanon.

And both Obama and Biden openly threaten Russia every chance they get.

Plus don't forget that Obama wants to add 100,000 new troops to the U.S. military.

Anti-war?

No, Obama and Biden are warmongers just like Bush and Cheney were.

The real question is when are the American people going to get sick of this nonsense and start demanding that the politicians do what they want?

Some Numbers To Think About

It is very easy to get caught up in our own little lives and to forget the huge masses of humanity that live in other parts of the world. The following numbers were emailed to me today, and they are really something to think about:

According to the World Christian Encyclopedia, there are approximately 1 billion Muslims, over 650 million Hindus, over 300 million Buddhists, over 200 million followers of Chinese folk religion, in addition to the world's 1.6 billion nominal Christians.

There are a LOT of people out there who are in darkness, and a lot of people who need our help and prayers. Even though Christianity is the largest "religion" in the world (at 1.6 billion people), a lot of those people just call themselves "Christians" but never go to church and never pick up a Bible. For many people it is just a "cultural" thing.

There are more people alive today than ever before. That also means there is more of an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people than ever before.

Let us pray for open doors!

Meet The New Boss - Same As The Old Boss?

In a stunning development, two-thirds of the staff that Barack Obama has selected so far has come from the Clinton administration.

Overall, 31 of the 47 individuals appointed so far to the President-elect’s transition and White House teams had experience in the Clinton administration.

So when Barack Obama kept demanding "change", was the "change" he was talking about going back to the ways of the Clinton White House?

If America wanted that, they could have just elected Hillary Clinton.

Now political operatives in both parties are buzzing about the prospect that Senator Hillary Clinton is about to be selected by Barack Obama as the next Secretary of State of the United States.

So is this change, or is this just more of the same corrupt party politics that have dominated Washington D.C. for the past 40 years?

The very first person that Barack Obama selected for his team was Joe Biden, who literally has decades of experience of being an establishment insider. Now he is about to select Hillary Clinton for the number three position in the government?

These selections do NOT represent a fundamental change in governing.

It is very interesting to note that Hillary Clinton has close ties to the Council on Foreign Relations, which has produced every single Secretary of State since the 1950s. In fact, almost all of the potential cabinet selections that are being floated by the Obama organization either are members of the CFR or are closely tied to that organization.

So, if president-elect Obama keeps brining in establishment hacks and former members of the Clinton administration, what kind of "change" is that supposed to represent?

Vice President-elect Joe Biden has also appointed former Clinton administration aide Ron Klain as his chief of staff.

This comes one week after President-elect Barack Obama tapped former Clinton aide Rahm Emanuel to head the White House as chief of staff.

So former Clintonites will be running the office of the president and the vice-president.

It seems that the only way this new administration could be more "Clintonized" is if Hillary Clinton had been elected herself.

So once again we ask: "Is this change?"

It sure doesn't seem like it.

It seems a whole lot like "more of the same".....

After writing the gospel of Mark, John Mark traveled, sowing the seeds of the faith throughout Northern Africa and Egypt, and finally settled in Alexandria and established a church there.

On April 21, A.D. 64, Mark preached a sermon remembering the suffering and death of Christ as part of Passover. He had been at odds with the local heathen priests, and they took this day to incite the general population to rise up against him.

The rebels stormed the church and seized John Mark. Using hooks and ropes, they dragged him out through the congregation, into the streets, and out of the city. He left a trail of blood and flesh that stained the rocks over which they dragged him. Blood flowed from virtually every spot on his body as the mob jeered and mocked him. With his last words, he commended his spirit into the hands of his Savior and died.

Even with Mark's death, the crowd's thirst for violence was not satisfied, and the priests called for his body to be burned instead of buried. Suddenly, a storm erupted, scattering the mob in every direction, and Mark's body was left where he had died. A group of Christians then came and took the body and gave Mark a proper burial.

Internet Fascism: Australia To Blacklist 10,000 Websites

We have all heard of extreme internet censorship in countries such as China, but many of us thought that it would never happen in the western world. After all, who would ever imagine that we would see fascist internet censorship in the "free world"?

Well, the reality is that it has happened and it is happening.

Australia's new mandatory internet filter is being prepared to block 10,000 websites as part of a new effort to blacklist websites that contain "unwanted content".

1300 websites have already been identified as objectionable by the Australian Communications and Media Authority and have been placed on the blacklist.

So now people in Australia will not be able to go anywhere on the internet that they want to go. Now they will only be able to see the websites that the government allows them to see.

Perhaps you don't live in Australia, and you figure that since it doesn't affect you that you don't have anything to worry about. But what you do not understand is that these fascist police state measures always spread like the plague once they have been accepted in one major country in the western world.

Already we are seeing major restrictions on internet usage beginning to pop up in the United States and Canada.

On November 1st, AT&T, the largest U.S. Internet provider, began testing limits that would curb internet usage for customers whose video and music downloads are flooding their network.

Once one or two large internet providers get away with putting a cap on internet use all of the other providers will follow very quickly. Now that Comcast has announced a hard cap on internet use, it is only a matter of time until even more internet providers follow suit.

Canada's new internet subscription model is even more restrictive. What some internet providers in Canada are getting ready to do is to provide internet service on a subscription model similar to how cable television service is provided. In other words, your "package" will include 400 or 500 of the top websites, and if you want more than that you will have to pay for it:

The truth is that there has never been a greater information tool than the internet in the history of the world. The free flow of information that has resulted has given a lot of power to the people of the world. Many governments around the world, including the Western establishment, do not like this at all. Increased censorship and other types of "internet reform" are being introduced in order to curtail our freedom of speech to a more "acceptable" level.

Large corporate media does not have a problem with this. Giant media companies are sick and tired of giving away their media for free. Huge newspapers are going broke, movie companies are losing revenue, news organizations have lost control over the flow of information and the "small guy" is finding a way to carve out a bigger piece of the pie. Giant media organizations desperately want their power and control back. Restrictions on the internet will give THEM more control.

Most people in modern society are sheep, and they will pay whatever someone tells them to pay, and they will passively accept whatever controls and restrictions are put on them without even a whimper.

Internet censorship is here, and most people probably won't even wake up enough to notice.

Palin Openly Rips Bush And Blames Him For McCain's Defeat

Sarah Palin is openly ripping the Bush administration and is publicly blaming Bush for the defeat of the McCain/Palin ticket.

She is right.

"It's amazing that we did as well as we did," Palin stated during an interview with the Anchorage Daily News.

"I think the Republican ticket represented too much of the status quo, too much of what had gone on in these last eight years, that Americans were kind of shaking their heads like going, wait a minute, how did we run up a $10 trillion debt in a Republican administration? How have there been blunders with war strategy under a Republican administration? If we're talking change, we want to get far away from what it was that the present administration represented and that is to a great degree what the Republican Party at the time had been representing," Palin said in the same interview in a story that was published on Sunday.

It is surprising, yet actually quite refreshing, to see a politician speak so candidly.

The truth is that George W. Bush is one of the worst presidents in American history, and if Republicans are going to regain credibility with the American people, then they are going to have to admit that.

The reality is that Bush has run the economy into the ground, he has gotten us involved in endless wars and has ruined the reputation of the United States around the world, and he has made so many bad decisions that the idea of listing them all makes my head hurt.

Sarah Palin is also leaving the door open to a run in 2012. She had the following to say during a television interview with Fox News:

"I'm like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I'm like, don't let me miss the open door."

Palin's interview on Fox News' "On The Record" program has drawn a lot of attention. Palin also added this later on in that same interview:
