"Main Core" - Massive Government Surveillance Program For Use In Case Of "National Emergency" - 8 Million "Potential Suspects" - Are You On The List?

According to a "senior government official", there exists a government surveillance program that is ongoing right now that is watching us and is gathering names of anyone who might be "unfriendly" to the government.

Apparently there are over 8 million names on the list, and the names on the list are likely to be incarcerated in the case of a "national emergency".

There have been rumors of "red lists" and "blue lists" on the internet for years, but this piece of news seems to confirm that those rumors may not have been so far fetched after all.

Not only is this a blatant violation of the Constitution, but it is more evidence that our nation is way down the path on the road to Fascism.

We live in very frightening times.

Here is an excerpt from the source article from Think Progress:

----

According to a senior government official…”There exists a database of Americans, who, often for the slightest and most trivial reason, are considered unfriendly, and who, in a time of panic, might be incarcerated. The database can identify and locate perceived ‘enemies of the state’ almost instantaneously.” … One knowledgeable source claims that 8 million Americans are now listed in Main Core as potentially suspect. In the event of a national emergency, these people could be subject to everything from heightened surveillance and tracking to direct questioning and possibly even detention.
