Bananas Headed For $1 Per Pound - How Bad Will This Food Crisis Get?

The New York Times is reporting that the price of bananas is headed for a dollar per pound.

How crazy is that?

Just a little while ago we were buying bananas for 44 cents per pound in our local supermarket.

I don't know about you, but I am in no mood to have bananas DOUBLE in price.

In fact, I am not in favor of ANYTHING doubling in price.

This is getting ridiculous.

And yet the government tells us that there is "very little" inflation.

Yeah, try telling that to anyone who has filled up their car with gasoline or who has purchased groceries lately.
