The days of openly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in the United Kingdom are over.When two Christians tried to go and pass out tracts in a highly Muslim area in Birmingham, a community police officer stopped them and reportedly said to them: "You have been warned. If you come back here and get beat up, well, you have been warned."
The community officer also told them not to ever return to that area, and that trying to promote Christianity in a Muslim neighborhood was a hate crime.
This is another episode in a disturbing trend that we are seeing in the Western world. Increasingly, many forms of preaching the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is being labeled as a "hate crime", and Christians are just laying down and taking it.
Some day almost all forms of evangelism will be against the law.
Then what will we do?

Two Christian preachers were stopped from handing out Bible extracts by police because they were in a Muslim area, it was claimed yesterday.
They say they were told by a Muslim police community support officer that they could not preach there and that attempting to convert Muslims to Christianity was a hate crime.
The community officer is also said to have told the two men: 'You have been warned. If you come back here and get beat up, well, you have been warned.'
A police constable who was present during the incident in the Alum Rock area of Birmingham is also alleged to have told the preachers not to return to the district.
