Are we still supposed to follow the Ten Commandments?Is it wrong for us to break them?

If you believe that the 10 Commandments still apply today, please explain why.
If you think it is okay for us to break the 10 Commandments today, please explain your reasoning.
Here is a bit of Scripture to help get the discussion started:
Matthew 5:17-19
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Absolutely! All but one commandment applies to the new covenant we have through Jesus Christ. The only commandment that didn't transfer is the 4th, I believe, which is the commandment to remember the Sabbath. Under the new covenant we can worship on any day we choose as long as we find time to spend with God.
