The Daily Buzz - Israel Is On High Alert For A Possible Syrian/Hizballah Attack During Yom Kippur

-Israel is on high alert for a potential Yom Kippur attack after Syria moved tank units up to the Lebanese Beqaa Valley border on Tuesday.

-Even foreign newspapers know that there is not much difference between Obama and McCain.

-A coalition of scientists is being accused of suppressing evidence against Darwinism.

-Heating bills are expected to be 15% higher this winter.

-Eleven members of the same family have been killed by U.S. gunfire in Iraq.

-Just last week, about 70 of AIG's top performers were rewarded with a weeklong stay at the luxurious St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, California where they ran up a bill of $440,000. Life is good for those who have been "bailed out", eh?

-What about retirees and their suffering? - Retirement accounts have lost $2 trillion so far this year.

-Lastly, earlier today the U.S. Federal Reserve and other major central banks moved in concert to slash interest rates.
