The Daily Buzz - Huge Bomb Blast In Pakistan

-A bomb blast in the Pakistani city of Peshawar today has killed at least 20 people and has wounded at least 50. Was this retaliation for the Mumbai attacks?

-Canada's parliament has been shut down. Canadian Governor General Michaelle Jean, the representative of Queen Elizabeth, has agreed to suspend the Canadian parliament until late January, giving Prime Minister Stephen Harper time to figure out how to save his job.

-There are half a million frozen babies sitting in fertility clinics across the United States.

-Judicial Watch claims that Hillary Clinton is constitutionally ineligible to serve as Secretary of State.

-Time magazine actually has a new article out entitled: "Obama's New World Order"

-The number of people who have learned how to "unplug from the grid" is growing.

-Genetically modified crops now account for almost one-tenth of global crop production.

-Barack Obama is appointing Cecilia Muñoz, senior vice president of La Raza, as the new director of intergovernmental affairs. It looks like illegal immigration will have a strong defender in the White House.

-Lastly, Richard Cizik, the chief lobbyist and vice president for governmental affairs for the National Association of Evangelicals says that he is "shifting" on gay marriage and that he believes in homosexual civil unions.
