-Shell is one of the contenders to develop some of the big Iraqi oil fields.

-The Washington Post is reporting that the U.S. national debt is expected to soar this year.

-Now Supreme Court chief justice Roberts says that he wants more money too.

-A group of U.S. governors is calling for the federal government to pass a 1 trillion dollar economic stimulus package.

-The IMF chief economist says that the economic outlook is getting worse.

-Pat Robertson says that God told him that the U.S. will embrace socialism and that the economy will get better under Obama.

-Indonesia was hit by a huge offshore earthquake of magnitude 7.8 just a couple days ago.
