Are We Living In The Last Days?

Are we living during the times that the Scriptures refer to as "the last days"? The truth is that is what most serious Christian scholars believe. That is what we believe as well, and we have started a new site called The Last Days that chronicles that news, events and fulfilled prophetic signs as we look forward to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now we realize that there are about as many different opinions about what is going to happen in the last days as there are Christians, but we see debate as a good thing. Let us dig into the Scriptures and challenge one another to keep warning and watching. After all, the Scriptures tell us in 1 Thessalonians 5 that while the coming of the Lord will be as a thief in the night to the rest of the world, it should not surprise us like that.....

1 Thessalonians 5:1-4

Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.

In particular, we would invite you to come and read an article that we did on the mark of the beast. We are certainly not at that stage yet, but the kind of technology that may be used for the mark of the beast is very much progressing and is definitely something we need to keep an eye on.....

In addition, all of the prophetic signs that are coming to pass in our day make for a tremendously powerful evangelism tool. When you can show people that things that the Bible prophesied thousands of years ago are coming to pass today, that can have a lot of impact. Let us use the signs of the times to win more people into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
